Theodore "Ted" Jewell

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Theodore W. Jewell on February 18, 2025. Born in 1951 to Floyd and Beverly Jewell. Theodore is survived by his wife Diane (Ferrato) Jewell of 45 years, and his sons Robert Jewell (Kathrine) of Lakewood, Michael Jewell (Caitlin) of Avon and Nathan Jewell (Megan) of Streetsboro; and his grandchildren Carter, Lorelei, Jacqueline and Charlie Jewell.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Jewell and Beverly (nee Arnold) Jewell, brother Timothy Jewell (Dori) and sister Barbara Gromski (Norm).

Ted loved working on cars, hunting, playing his guitars, and hugs from his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a vivid storyteller. Ted was an electrician for CEI and Avery Dennison for 30 years. 

Ted lost his battle to brain cancer very quickly and his family wishes to extend a thank you to UH Hospital.

There will be a private service for family and a celebration of life at a later date.
